1. Age restriction
Selling alcohol to people under the age of 18 is illegal. By placing an order, the customer confirms that he/she is 18 years old or above. The customer shall ensure that no person shall use his/her login to purchase alcohol products and a person aged 18 or above (identification required) must be present to take delivery or delivery shall be withdrawn and attempted at another time agreed.
Your privacy is our main concern and we take it very seriously. We will not share your details to any third party, except our delivery intermediaries.
3. Pricing and ordering
All prices are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars, and can be per bottle or per case, as precised. The prices exclude any tax and duty.
We accept payment through PayPal.
We try our best to have our accurate stock online. However, there may be times when the product you have ordered is temporarily out-of-stock which will delay processing your order. We will keep you updated of any delay/change that may interfere with your order. If the product you’ve ordered is definitely out-of-stock, we will propose an alternative or give you a refund.
5. Returns & Replacements
Breakage - The customer is requested to examine the goods immediately upon delivery for any deficiencies and/or damages. Claims must be lodged at the time of delivery contacting La Cabane Wine Cellar at +852 2517 0186, otherwise we shall have the discretion to refuse your claim after delivery. For any breakages, the wine will be refunded within 4 weeks, or will be replaced with your next order.
Corkage - For faulty and corked wines, please contact La Cabane at +852 2517 0186 or/and firstname.lastname@example.org and provide full details of the problem. It is the customer's responsibility to return the bottle to La Cabane so that we can confirm the fault. Once we confirm the issue, the value of the wine will be refunded to you within 4 weeks or we can replace the bottle with your next order.
Stolen Wine - We won't take any responsibility of stolen wines if you give instructions for us to leave your wine outside your house and the wine gets stolen.
We will not be liable for loss or damage caused by the customer handling the wine. We will not be liable for spillages or breakages. A case of wine is heavy so extra care should be taken when lifting it. If you are concerned about the weight we recommend that you carry the bottles only 1 or 2 at a time.
6. Delivery conditions
Delivery charge: Delivery is FREE OF CHARGE for orders over HKD1,800. A delivery charge of $100 will apply for orders of less than this amount.
Delivery time: We deliver afternoons of Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Any order placed before 11am on these days will be delivered the same day, following availability.
Example1: If you place your order on a Monday, 6pm, you will be delivered Tuesday between 2pm and 7pm following availability.
Example2: If you place your order on a Tuesday 10 am, you will benefit from the same day delivery between 2pm and 7pm following availability.
Example3: If you place your order on a Tuesday 12noon, you will be delivered on Thursday between 2pm and 7pm following availability.
Public Holidays & Weather: We do not offer delivery on public holidays, when Typhoon Signal #8 or the Black Rain signal is hoisted.
Delivery Address: we only do single address delivery. If you wish us to deliver to several addresses, please place one order for each location. If you have any special requirement for delivery arrangements, please contact us before placing your order. Deliveries are also restricted to addresses within 30 meters of a legal parking space. If our driver is unable to legally park, please meet our staff at the closest legal unloading area.
7. General conditions
Under no circumstance shall La Cabane Group Ltd or any affiliates, directors, officers or employees be liable for special or consequential damages including loss of business, and in no event shall any liability of the company exceed the purchase price of any product purchased.
We reserve the right to cancel any order without notification. If there is an issue or problem with your order we will contact you to try to resolve it.
