Michel Favard

Château Meylet, Bordeaux

La Cabane, Hong Kong

Château Meylet, located on the Western slopes of Saint-Emilion, has been a family vineyard since 1875. Michel Favard, the first 'full-time' winemaker of his family, today takes care of this property and its vines. In 1978, he completed his first harvest under the name Château Meylet. Since 2010, Chateau Meylet uses horses to work one of their plots and manages to produce around 25 hl per hectare. As proof of Michel Favard’s commitment to natural methods, the vineyard is certified biodynamic since 1987.
